Hi I am John one of your deacons.

I found Christ in my mid twenties after being a nominal Christian in the church of England, I remember feeling a great sense of peace and also an opening of my eyes to a much bigger story and narrative beyond my own, and my place in that story. 

Having spent a happy couple of years in York studying theology at York St John University while worshipping at a Pentecostal church and a move to Dorset then Devon. I now work in medical eye photography and have a keen interest in rugby and Sci-Fi . 

Christian wise I am very interested in how the Church can exist in the internet world, using multimedia, both modern and ancient to explore spirituality and exploring how to worship in non-church contexts.

Hi, I’m Danny – a retired Baptist Minister.
I became a Baptist by “accident” having had a varied faith walk I landed in my local
Baptist church and felt very much at home.
I am a keen musician and love exploring worship, story and humour in songs. (I do
love to torture people with my accordions occasionally)
I find Jesus’ life fascinating, rebellious and refreshing as he navigated our humanity
to bring peace and freedom in a very complex and muddled world.
I now work as a Handyman in respite homes for adults with learning disabilities
which is really interesting and varied and brings me alongside some wonderful
people.
